Detailed Description 


Located about 95 km from Jaipur, Chand Baori is a magnificent stepwell and one of the deepest and largest in India. Built during the 8th-9th century by King Chanda of the Nikumbha dynasty, it served as a water reservoir and a gathering place for villagers.

The stepwell has 3,500 perfectly symmetrical steps arranged in a stunning geometric pattern. The intricate carvings on the walls depict scenes from Hindu mythology. Adjacent to the stepwell is the Harshat Mata Temple, adding to the site’s cultural significance.
