Ownership of Content
All photos, videos, recordings, and other media captured during MysTrip-organized trips, treks, events, or experiences — whether captured by MysTrip team members, hired professionals, or participants — shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of MysTrip.
MysTrip retains full rights to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, and display such content for branding, marketing, promotional, educational, and commercial purposes across all platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, advertisements, and promotional materials.
Personal Use by Participants
Participants are permitted to:
- Share photos or videos from the trek/trip on their personal social media accounts
- Share content with friends or family for non-commercial, personal use
Such sharing must not:
- Misrepresent MysTrip
- Create confusion regarding the organizer of the trip
- Be edited or presented in a misleading or defamatory manner
Prohibited Use (Strictly Not Allowed)
Participants are strictly prohibited from using or sharing any trek/trip-related content for:
- Any commercial purpose
- Posting on business, brand, trekking, travel, or community pages
- Promotion of any other trekking group, travel brand, or organization
- Marketing, advertisements, sponsorships, or paid collaborations
- Creating or promoting competing travel or trekking services
This restriction applies regardless of whether the content was captured personally or obtained from other participants.
No Implied Collaboration
Participation in a MysTrip activity does not imply partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or content-sharing rights with any individual, group, or organization.
Any use of MysTrip-related content that suggests association or collaboration without written consent is strictly prohibited.
Permission & Exceptions
Any request to use MysTrip trek content for purposes outside personal use must be:
- Submitted in writing to MysTrip
- Explicitly approved in writing by MysTrip
MysTrip reserves the sole discretion to approve or deny such requests without obligation to provide justification.
Violation of Policy
Violation of this Policy may result in:
- Immediate removal from the trip or future MysTrip activities
- Request for removal of unauthorized content
- Legal action in cases of commercial misuse, brand damage, or intellectual property infringement
MysTrip reserves all rights to protect its brand, intellectual property, and business interests.
Agreement & Acceptance
By registering for, paying for, or participating in any MysTrip activity, you automatically agree to abide by this Content Usage Rights & Media Policy.
If you do not agree with these terms, you are advised not to participate in MysTrip-organized activities.
